HAWK RESCUE SERVICES Ltd. provides event and industrial medical standby, field clinics, patient transport, Fire and rescue services, Parking, emergency medical supplies, inventory checks, and restocking. These services are provided on Vancouver Island and throughout the Province of BC. HAWK RESCUE SERVICES is a small corporation that is expanding daily.

Parking Usher
HAWK RESCUE SERVICES
Part-Time/Casual On-Call Position

Reporting to the Lieutenant and the management of HAWK RESCUE SERVICES. We are seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Parking Ushers. In this role, you will be responsible for directing vehicles on private property, managing parking flow, and ensuring a safe and organized parking environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas efficiently and safely
  • Provide clear hand signals and verbal instructions to drivers
  • Monitor parking lots to ensure proper use of space and traffic flow
  • Assist guests with questions, directions, and general inquiries
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times
  • Report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to supervisors
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of parking areas

Skills And Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good situational awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical activity
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Previous customer service or traffic control experience is an asset, but not required
  • Ability to use 2-way radios is an asset, but not required. 
  • Ability to be able to get to and from the event location, no public transit available.

Compensation & Benefits:
